Sunday Song: Weathered

I weathered the week. I weathered the weather. To recovering from the withering all that weathering caused, I turned to music. My internal jukebox offered up this week’s Sunday Song selection more than once each day this week. What can I say — even my jukebox-y brain has a sense of humor. (‘Tis true that you could say almost any word to me and a song will drop and start to play.)

Snow Go

Picture it: It’s snowing and then sleeting. I figure waiting to go to work is the answer. Though that usually works, today I find myself in the thick of the sleet (and a slightly incorrect forecast) and realize I’ve done this backwards (listening to forecast = my first mistake). The school I use as my guide as to what to do changed from a two-hour delay to closed, apparently possessing a crystal ball I’m not privvy to. The next time this happens, though, I’ll follow their lead.

Sunday Song: Hot Harmonies

I’m a musical gal, from my wee days taking piano and drum lessons, to my current stint in a community choir. Listening to music is what going to church is for some, so I celebrate with Sunday Song. Daisy Digest: November 2018

Daisy Digest Logojust did this, right? I know they put some kind of fancy photo-taking pseudo-scientist robot on Mars, but I think they also must have done something to the space-time continuum. November, like the Autumn that has morphed too quickly into Winter, I barely knew ye (and apparently, I barely knew old English because the first time I typed that, I wrote yee).

AND on top of everything else, I’m writing this post in the evening on November 30, when I meant to write it earlier today (or actually earlier this week then tidy today and post). *le sigh*

Anyway, let’s pause — seriously, is there a pause button for days/weeks/months? Can someone invent that, please? — and take a look back at the month just passed as it comes to an end.

Introvert’s Lament

A rare moment alone, so I sit in silence, not saying a word. I can do this for hours, perhaps days (have to try that). No music. No TV. Just the sound of the wind outside my window blowing through the trees (whose leaves may never change color since the temps are back in the 80s).
