Photo of the Month ~ February 2021

Wintry afternoon between two snow days.

I hadn’t intended to hibernate, but I didn’t know how much my mind and body needed to recover. After the fascistic horror of January 6. After the first couple weeks of a new administration, after which I finally relaxed. After seeing the beginning of the end of The Year of Uncertainty with the vaccine rollout. After realizing that the sustaining silver linings during COVID were good but deep down I was extremely exhausted. … February found me inside and quiet, and outside some. I took a few photos. This, my favorite of the month.

There are bright spots between storms. Even in the midst of gloom, there’s light.

DSF’s Photo of the Month is published on the last Sunday of each month.
