Some weeks I participate in Share Your World, a weekly blog challenge some of the cool kids I know take part in. Welcome to a wee part of Tara’s world!
In regards to puzzle what’s your choice: jigsaw, crossword, word search, mazes, logic or numeric puzzles, something else, or nothing?
I don’t do puzzles very often, but when I do, I enjoy crosswords and logic puzzles. As an INFJ, my actual favorite puzzle of all-time has to be Why did he/she do that? or What does that have to do with anything when all of this really means nothing? or What is the meaning of life? In addition to that which I can’t control (it’s just how my mind works), I also enjoy the ‘puzzles’ of Law & Order (the Lenny years).
List at least five favorite treats and it doesn’t necessarily have to be food.
- Silence/days of solitude
- My EnerGel Liquid Gel Ink pens
- Voortman Bakery‘s Wafers (a recently discovered delicious Canadian cookie… YUM!)
- A really good night’s sleep
What is your favorite type of dog? (can be anything from a specific breed, a stuffed animal or character in a movie)
Quiet. Not so barky. Cat-like. … OK, I’d rather have a cat. BUT! I think Huskies are beautiful. And Tuna is adorbs.
What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week? Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.
Hearing President Obama’s speech in South Africa last week. Even just hearing the South African president speak. Leaders who don’t pout like a two-year-old, and aren’t weak bullies who think they’re strong, who (whether you agree with everything they do or not… which I didn’t with Barry here) try to lift people up, not tear them down (or name call, like a two-year-old). To have a president who can use full sentences again… from either side of the aisle… …. *dabs eye with tissue*
