Share Your World ~ Eighteen

Some weeks I participate in Share Your World, a weekly blog challenge some of the cool kids I know take part in. Welcome to a wee part of Tara’s world!

Share Your World

If you were to pack a basket for picnic lunch, what would be in your basket?

A hoagie. I’m from Philly. And Dr. Pepper. (p.s. I’ve done this, back when I used to sit on the ground more and also when getting up off the ground was a LOT easier.)

On a vacation what you would require in any place that you sleep?

It must be indoors (no camping for me). It must have air conditioning that works even in the winter (some hotels are stuffy in general and I likes it cold). I’ll also need room-darkening curtains. With all that window — hotels mostly love BIG windows, I’ll need help keeping the sun out in the morning.

If you were to buy a new house/apartment what is the top three items on your wish list?

  1.  That it’s a tiny house.
  2.  That it’s near water of some kind.
  3.  That it’s outside the northeast megalopolis.

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?  Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.

First, the post office created Mr. Rogers stamps. And now… scratch and sniff! (Story in USA Today here.) Like I need another excuse to want to send mail. AND, while doing that, it’s a trip in my wayback machine to when I was a kid and love, love, LOVED scratch and sniff stickers. Thanks, Post Office! I’ll definitely be getting those stamps. They’re soooooo 80s. Totally rad!

  1. I agree, no camping! A/C is a must, too! …A Mr. Rogers stamp…how cool! Guess I should read the article about it, as a scratch ‘n sniff stamp of Mr. Rogers would be …well, interesting? haha!
