Thursday Doors: Weathered

It’s Thursday! It’s time to share some doors! What did I capture this week? Let’s find out.

I’ve passed this building several times. Finally, I stopped and took a photo. I just really like old buildings that are weathered and even slightly falling apart. (Analyze that, I dare you.)

There are doors in weird places! There are windows boarded and some still with glass! So much going on in this structure. I think it’s cool, though.

After finally capturing this door/window extravaganza, I went to the park and took a walk. Being in nature helps refill my wells when I’m feeling weathered, and that keeps me from closing my door, figuratively speaking, to the world.

This post is one of many through Thursday Doors by Norm Frampton. See other doors — from around the world — on his weekly linkup and/or on the Twitter at #ThursdayDoors. See more of my doors here.

  1. That final paragraph makes me smile. I’m doing a lot of well-filling recently. It seems to be going slowly, but I have the sense I’m learning how to do it better, so that I’m the future I’ll neither let it run so dry nor have to take so long to replenish it, even if it does.
