Thursday Doors: Patriotic Pink

It’s Thursday! It’s time to share some doors! What did I capture this week? Let’s find out.

I wouldn’t normally put patriotic and pink in the same sentence, but it is what it is. After a particularly unpleasant day, it was nice to drive down the street and see this pretty sight. An historic stone house, with a blue door (with burgundy shutters? Interesting choice…), adorned with American flags, with a tree shedding its blossoms that land and look like pink snow on the ground. And the light! The light before twilight — one of my faves. I actually went around the block so I could get this shot.

Spring. Finally. And a pretty sight on an otherwise ugly day.

This post is one of many through Thursday Doors by Norm Frampton. See other doors — from around the world — on his weekly linkup and/or on the Twitter at #ThursdayDoors. See more of my doors here.

I'm a writer who loves to laugh and smile. :-)
