Welcome to my #DSFWeeklyRewind post for this week, the last one that will be (at least for the forseeable future).
You may or may not be surprised that I’ve decided to stop posting a #DSFWeeklyRewind post with the intention of inviting others to do the same. I genuinely appreciate those who participated and created some really fantastic posts, filled with creativity and gratitude. SHOUT OUTS (SHOUTS OUT?) to regulars Kathleen, Liz, The Edinburgh Cook, Yinglan, and even Robin and Amie (one-timers, but I loved both their posts!).
Will I bore you with things I do during the weeks? Of course! But I will not compile them in a weekly roundup for the forseeable future (if ever). The weekly recap, with creativity and a touch of gratitude, #DSFWeeklyRewind is on indefinite (and probably permanent) hiatus.
One perk to giving up this attempt at a linkup is that I don’t have to do anything electronic on the weekends. There’s a world out there that needs exploring, with my camera preferably, and to do that, I need to untether myself from my machines. But never, ever from my peeps. I love everyone who visits and comments, who shares a bit of themselves here in my little daisy smiley face world. All I ever want from any of this is to connect. Isn’t that, like, the point of, like, being here on earth?
I hope you’ll stay connected if you liked the #DSFWeeklyRewind posts that will now fade into memory. I hope you’ll still share your stories and thoughts about my tales and we can have this weird amazing electronic conversation continue, just in different post forms. I do have a few ideas for new things.
And I’m still gratitudinous (and I’m sure gratitude will still make its way to my posts). This week, I’m grateful for warmer days, online shopping with a coupon, having my boss appreciate my go-get-it-ness, black iced tea, Blue Bunny teeny tiny chocolate cones with chocolate ice cream covered in a hard chocolate shell, The Voice, Adam Rippon on Dancing with the Stars, my library’s hold system, and Muse being so available lately.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to connect. I’m grateful for the opportunity to morph and change. And as always, I’m grateful for you.
