Thursday Doors: Erin Go F*ck Yourself

It’s Thursday! It’s time to share some doors! What did I capture this week? Let’s find out.

Pardon my angry Irish in the headline there, but January decided to show up in March and colored me annoyed. Me. She who loves winter. In winter. Yes, technically it’s still winter. But March is generally windy, but not freezing (below freezing actually). And March usually isn’t a time to stress about should I go to work, should I stay home during a snowstorm. And the power outage. Me no likee the power outage. And the challenge of sleeping: half a blanket; no, the whole blanket; no, all of the blanket except for one foot that dangles outside the sheet and blanket. Does my insurance cover weather whiplash.

Grumble grumble, but like I said last week, it is pretty. It’s like that cute kid that gets into trouble and everybody just goes awwww, isn’t he so cute destroying the table with his markers like that…

This just isn’t normal, to have flakes flying by the three-leaf clovers.

Perhaps on St. Patrick’s Day, the luck of the Irish will turn off the snow and cold until next year.

This post is one of many through Thursday Doors by Norm Frampton. See other doors — from around the world — on his weekly linkup and/or on the Twitter at #ThursdayDoors. See more of my doors here.

  1. Shivering shamrocks!
This month is more unpredictable than a season ending episode of Game of Thrones, and oftentimes it is every bit as unforgiving.
I’m with you, I hope the Holy Day brings the last of this nonsense. Didn’t we “spring” ahead already? Where in the hell IS the spring? lol . . .

    Peace and spring

    • Awesome alliteration!
Yeah, I don’t remember March being this nutty. Windy, yes. January-y? Not for some time, methinks.
We DID spring ahead. But we’re not golf lobbies or other people paying congresspeople to make dumb laws so they don’t care that we spring ahead before actual Spring!

Piece OF spring, you say? tee hee. Pass the mittens.

      • This March has been all over the place. I just cannot take the wind. I can run in snow, rain, whatevs. But wind is such a pain!
We need to have that power to change this stupid DST! It would pass in five minutes!
        Happy 17th!

  2. Not as bad as the coast but we got 8″ here from Tuesday through Wednesday. A few more weeks and we should be in the clear – hang in there.
Don’t forget to link-up your post if you get the chance 🙂
