Share Your World ~ Fourteen

Some weeks I participate in Share Your World, a weekly blog challenge some of the cool kids I know take part in. Welcome to a wee part of Tara’s world!

Share Your World

Are you a practical jokester?

No, and I don’t like practical jokes. I’m a sensitive soul and jumping out of nowhere to scare the hell out of me just my kill me. I do, however, like puns and jokes and things that make people laugh. I don’t often find practical jokes funny.

Who cuts your hair? You, a friend, or professional.

Whoever happens to be a Hair Cuttery the two or maybe three (mostly likely two) times I go each year. I hate having my hair cut, as I’ve discussed previously — read Salon, farwell (I wish).

Did you have a stuffed animal when you were a kid, if so what kind?

I had MANY. Standouts include Cracker, the brown oatmeal bear Dad got at a Cracker Barrel in Tennessee (hence his name), a pink cat that my aunt sent up from Louisiana when I was born (still have that, too). I had Muppets and bears a plenty, Smurfs, and a ton of others.

Figure skater Mirai Nagasu hitting a triple axel in Olympic competition, and Adam Rippon, just being Adam Rippon. Authenticity rules! That and the fact that his free skate is beautiful and breathtaking, and he does a layback spin better than most of the ladies. Watch his amazing free skate here.

  1. I like that you named your stuffed bear Cracker. There is a logic that I can follow with that choice. I, of course, had a stuffed bear that I named Mr. Bear. Not my most creative toy name, but one that, like Cracker, got to the essence of things.
