Daisy Smiley Face

It's my happy place.

I haven’t posted Thursday Doors since June 29. This makes me sad. I’ve taken a few photos of doors — truly, like, only 3. This also makes me sad. Will I Thursday Doors no more? Of course not!

Humidity makes me a hermit.

Humidity wears me out.

Other factors of adulting added on top… I could sleep for a month, well, two months — the entire worst part of summer.

But I miss Thursday Doors! I miss visiting you all and you visiting me.

Sometime in the last month, I made this new pic to herald my Thursday Doors posts, so it’s been on my mind:

So this is my door for this week.

I’ll be back in a few weeks. This hell will end! (bear with me).

This post is one of many through Thursday Doors by Norm Frampton. See other doors — from around the world — on his weekly linkup and/or on the Twitter at #ThursdayDoors. See more of my doors here.

  1. I can sympathize about the humidity. When we lived in Spain I was a hermit for July and August and only went out at night, when it had cooled down a bit. I totally wilted in the summers there.

Thanks, Jean. That doesn’t sound like too much fun. At least in Spain if you fall asleep in the afternoon from the heat, it’s not looked upon as weird. 🙂

      1. Never mind if it looks weird, a siesta is refreshing at any time of year – the Spanish know that from experience. 🙂

Summer heat and humidity are very rough on me too – it’s not easy.
Luckily the weather here has been milder this summer, with a LOT more rain.
Thanks for checking in and sharing your pic. It reminds me that I still haven’t done a badge for Thursday Doors yet. As much as I want to, I just don’t have the time.
In the meantime come on back whenever you’re able to – the main thing is to have fun with it 🙂

Tis not easy. Glad I’m not the only sufferer. Sorry to hear you struggle, too.
Time… there’s just never enough, eh?
      It’s mucho fun! That’s why I miss it. 🙂
