If we were having coffee (and my tasty black iced tea), I’d spare you the humid weather chat again. Just know that italics is one of only a few forms of movement I can pull off for another few weeks (and they just provide an illusion of movement).
I slept until 10:24… on a Saturday. This hurts me. I hate giving away weekend minutes, more than necessary, to slumber. I love sleeping, my usual 8-9 hours or so. And yes, this must mean that I needed more than usual last night (fell asleep around 11:15). It still bums me out. I’ll have to squeeze two hours of extra fun into one of the hours of the day here.
Week, in general: Tiring, obviously.
Weather: Moist. Ew.
Espanish: Overall, disappointing. I shall take my enthusiasm forward, alone, and meet fellow enthusiastic speakers elsewhere. (I still want to learn more so when I go to Spain in 2022 I’ll be ready.) Now, what will my next class for fun be?
Treat of the week: Buffalo chicken dip. For dinner. A fiesta with which to begin my weekend. Heartburn never tasted so good.
This week’s fun: The spider who lives in my bathroom came back. He’s a teeny thing, named Arthur 2. Why? Because Arthur 1, who used to live in the same spot, died last year. As long as he stays in his spot, he can be my bae. (Hey, millennials, I’m not using that word, and I use THAT term loosely, correctly, am I?)
This week’s challenge: Not giving anything away by keeping my you’ve got to be kidding me face in check with someone who thinks I don’t know they’re lying. Oh, sweet personal politics. I’m getting really good at this.
This week’s Bloggy Goodness:
- Monday: Share Your World: V.
- … … That’s it. I miss my regular blogging… damn you, humidity, for taking my energy away!
This week’s shameless plug: Check out my Instagram #365Project.
Since I’m now sooooo well-rested, I believe a trip to the library is in order. Perusing the shelves, picking books up, reading what they’re about, then putting them either in my bag or back on the shelf — this is my cardio. Sleeping so long means I shouldn’t nod off once I start reading my new finds either. Fingers crossed.
Until next time… next month! … Peace.
