Daisy Smiley Face

It's my happy place.

Some weeks (on Mondays or Tuesdays), I shall participate in Share Your World, a weekly blog challenge some of the cool kids I know take part in. There’s no Movie Monday this week so I shall do it today! This is my fourth installment.

What is your favorite cheese?

It’s like choosing between children… hmmm. I like American on my ham sammies. I like a four-cheese mix on my tacos. I like the soft squishy cheeses inside ravioli. … … … If I had to pick only one, I’d pick Vermont white cheddar, which is so tasty, I eat it all by itself. No dinner/side/sammie needed. … I’m getting hungry.

Are you left- or right-handed?

I am right-handed. Yesterday, though, I was pretending to be left-handed as I switched mousing duties from one side to the other. My usual right mouse hand was hurty, from all the previous mousing. (Mousing is a word, since googling is a word.)

Do you prefer exercising your mind or your body? How frequently do you do either?

I prefer exercising my mind and do it frequently. I like learning new things, reading, contemplating, writing, finding new things to photograph and in new ways, engaging in, well, engaging conversation. Exercise for the body must not feel like exercise or I won’t do it. So that would mean walking, dancing, roller skating, bowling, none of which I do nearly often enough.

Complete this sentence: Hot days are…

Limited, thank goodness, and a hell on earth for who knows what we did to deserve this… It’s another muggy Monday, but thankfully, July is more than half over.

Optional Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I’m grateful for air conditioning (again… and obviously) and for respite and rest and days off in which I wring every possible minute from it (which I did on Saturday). I’m looking forward to my next opportunities to do so — every night after 5 and this coming weekend. I’m also looking forward to August and then to Autumn. It’s helping to make this unbearable humidity more tolerable.

“Mousing” is absolutely a good word, LOL! I hope your hurty hand heals soon. And that the heat breaks! 🙂

I look forward to autumn, too. 🙂

Mousing sounds like the perfect word.
Oh, and our NC summer hell is alive and well and stretching on FOREVER…

We live a googling and mousing world now, so I’m sure it’s perfectly fine for you to use those words. Especially when dealing with all the heat and humidity that seems to have turned my mind to mush. Yours too?

Mind? What’s a mind? I can’t think straight with this humidity, That’s for sure. I’m hanging on for August… hopefully, these last 2 weeks of July will be the worst of it.

Thanks so much for sharing this week.
