#ThursdayDoors: Patriotic Puerta

My four-day Independence Day weekend begins in less than 48 hours. Ahhhhhh.

*said in baseball stadium announcer voice* Please join with me as we honor America with photos of patriotic houses.

This house dates to around the time of the founding of the United States of America: 178… seventeen eighty something. I can’t read the last number. It’s old, OK? And from the time this nation was born-ish! As you can see, the owner is flying the stars and stripes proudly.

And then there’s this house, one we’ve visited before. Many American flags here, too, and look! They heard us… see allllllll those chairs!

Happy July 4th to my American friends. Enjoy a weekend of lazy days and sitting on the porch watching summer wander by slowly. For everyone else around the world, a hearty red, white, and blue hello!

This post is one of many through Thursday Doors by Norm Frampton. See other doors — from around the world — on his weekly linkup and/or on the Twitter at #ThursdayDoors.

    1. Here in Pennsylvania, people take this stuff really seriously, especially since we’re so close to Philly. The birth of our nation! Happened here! You know…. There are flags EV.ERY.WHERE. 🙂
