#WeekendCoffeeShare: Time Warp

Tea for MeIf we were having coffee, I’d still be extolling the coffee drinker ahead of me at Starbucks who bought my iced tea this morning. This happens to me quite often. So many awesome people? A good karma week for me? No questioning free tea good fortune. Just enjoying and paying it forward… next time when I have more money on me. DOH!

Let’s chat.

First, tell me how on earth it’s the weekend again? I think I must have traveled through a time warp because I swear it was just Sunday. Time flies, a lot, but this week went by at light speed.

Speaking of light speed, I am now officially not the last person on earth to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens (there must be someone who still hasn’t). Did I like it? Visit on Movie Monday (October 3) to find out and share your thoughts.

I’m up to speed with the all the folks watching Designated Survivor, though. I’ve watched both episodes as they aired, in real time. Both weeks have been good. Of course, I’m trying not to get too attached because usually, when I love a network show, it goes the way of the dinosaurs.

I’m still waiting, however, for everything I wrote in this post, a peaceful, ambling blog on Tuesday. In the meantime, I haven’t missed a day in my Instagram #365Project and didn’t have to rush any of the days just to get something posted. Saturday is Day 11 — orange you glad I told you?

Raise your coffee mugs and teacups to toast the fact that I must really be having fun — it’s next weekend already, right?

  1. I wouldn’t get over a free drink either, not when it doesn’t happen too often where I’m from. I agree there are still awesome and kind people out there and they remind us to do just the same random act of kindness. 🙂

  2. I’ve not seen the Star Wars movie of which you wrote. They all seem about the same to me, so I feel no need to see it. This means that you, my dear, are not the last person on earth to see it.

I’m right there with you when it comes to welcoming October into my life. Beautifully written ode to my favorite season. Sorry I missed it earlier this week.

  3. I absolutely am loving Designated Survivor. I am a huge “24” fan. I find myself expecting him to grab someone by the neck or pulling out a gun and shooting them, but I quite like the kinder, gentler Kiefer Sutherland as well.

    1. Glad to find another DS fan. I loved 24, too, but I also loved kinder, gentler Kiefer in Young Guns (he was a poet!) and other movies, too. Hope the season continues to get stronger and stronger.

      Thanks for stopping by! ~Tara

    1. Thanks, Betty Louise! Hope you’re enjoying the game! I have tagged a couple of posts for Trent’s #WeeklySmile, but I think I’ll start writing posts just for that. Thanks for reminding me! Have a smiley week! ~Tara

  4. It’s so encouraging when people are so nice and restore your faith in humanity. Sharing that random act of kindness on your blog, has just expanded the reach of that good deed so much further. Indeed, right around the world so you’ve also done a good thing there.
Hope you have a great week!
    xx Rowena
