They’re Random! They’re Thoughts! It’s Thursday!
This week: Brief Epistles ~ May Edition
- Dear Sun:
Thank you for coming back. Those 10 days I didn’t see you this month — that was the longest game of hide and seek I’ve ever played.
Sincerely,
She who dislikes Dodgeball, too
- Dear Library:
Thank you for having DVDs of House, M.D., The Americans, and other shows that everyone else is Netflixing (or already has) so I can binge-watch for free.
Love,
She who didn’t think she could possibly love you more
- Dear Dust:
Where are you from? Why do you visit me so often? How come after I “ask” you to leave, you always come back, so quickly, and you bring friends?
Sincerely,
She who has a Swiffer duster and knows how to use it (but wishes she didn’t have to so often)
- Dear Knees:
I’m sorry that we’re so much lower to the ground getting out of the car vs. an SUV and that I like to sit back in my office chair so that my calves dangle in the air, putting tons o’ pressure on you just hanging there like that. I’ll try to be more careful, so can you knock of the clicking/ popping sounds and the aching?
Warmly,
No, seriously, I’m warm from the heat compresses I have to keep on you when I’m sitting
- Dear Pizza from Pizza Hut:
Sometimes, you remind me of the box you come in, but apparently I’d eat that slathered with tomato sauce, too. That sauce is delish.
Addictedly yours,
Can you please pass a napkin (and another piece)?
- Dear Reader:
Thanks for reading. Cyber hugs for everyone!
Love,
Me.

I enjoy your Brief Epistles, RTT. To the point and insightful. I laughed. I cried. I checked the envelope for postage due. 😉

Why, thank you, Ally. And I would never NOT include enough postage. 🙂

Cute! Yes, I used to watch shows from the library on DVD. Now we don’t even have our DVD player hooked up and my laptop doesn’t have a CD-ROM drive. So it’s streaming or nothing, sadly. My husband is more of a “flipper.” He flips through the channels and watches the same six movies over and over. I have to watch a show from Season 1, Episode 1 all the way through or not at all.

Thanks! I haven’t yet given in to the streaming gods. I don’t watch that much TV/movies, etc. So I’m still old school. Love technology, just don’t need all of it all the time. Still reading paper books, too. 🙂
